Eumundi Guesthouse is a little piece of heaven sitting in the Noosa countryside. We have magnificent views and sunsets. We take great effort to ensure our guests have very comfortable beds and we serve full, local produce breakfasts. In terms of sustainability we aim to minimise our carbon footprint, to be as self-sufficient as possible and to support local growers, makers, businesses and artists. Wherever possible we aim to buy and employ locally.
We operate a 15kw solar panel array with preferential on-site power use, site-wide rainwater storage with 20/1 micron filtration and ultraviolet sterilisation, 15 person advanced wastewater treatment, extensive use of recycled building materials including two class 1A dwellings (1900 farm cottage and converted engineering project dongas), low-chlorine drinking water style pool and use of dam water for plant irrigation. The Retreat Cottage is donated to artists for around 6 weeks annually to support their creative growth
